Come Craft Cricut Pop Up Cards with ME!
I recently bought myself a Cricut Maker for Christmas. After being married for 28 years we just kinda buy our own Christmas presents.
When I started my crafting, years ago, Cricut came out with their first machine. It seemed so awesome to be able to cut anything in any size. My husband found it for a good deal and I got it for Christmas 2007. I loved it! I still used it up till around 9 years ago when I upgraded to a Cameo. I am still a Cameo girl but as I check out the Cricut stuff these days, I am impressed with how far they have come. I pay 9.99 a month for Cricut access which allows me to use their font and image library. If you do not have this access the cards are around 2.00 each to download and use indefinitely.
I was recently at a crop and a new friend made a 3d card, (hers was a unicorn) and she made this 3d card so easily. It was so adorable! I was impressed so I had to try it out myself. Cricut has directions on their cut files but they seemed a little confusing to me. I searched YouTube for directions and watched it as I put it together which helped a lot. It was so easy to make.
Cricut splits the images up on separate mats so that you can cut each color by itself. Cricut has all the elements, card, and even the envelope cut files.
To use these files with the maker, you need a scorer tool, pen, and a cut tool.
Cricut will tell you when to insert each blade or pen and it will cut, score, and write out the lines.
When it was done cutting all the colors, I searched YouTube and knew I would find someone putting these together. It was super simple and turned out so cute.
This was the first one I made, it is a basket poppy card but I omitted the basket handle. I just didn't like it as much.

Next, I made a cupcake card. Isn't this adorable?

I am ready to try them all. I think they are just so adorable and although it does take a long time to make them, it's fun. What a great gift to give someone, I know I would never throw away a card like this one! This is the envelope
These cards are super cute!!!
