Come sublimate a 30 ounce tumbler with me

Image
Let's Make a 30 Ounce Tumbler! I bought some 30 ounce tumblers off amazon and decided I needed to sub them.   I have an 8.5x11 printer so I knew I would either have to tape the paper together or just have an image that took up most of the cup.  I decided for my very first tumbler I would just use an image that was smaller than the entire cup. Items you need: Sublimation printer Cricut mug press Sublimation treated tumbler 30 ounce Sublimation paper Parchment paper Heat resistant tape Heat resistant gloves First design and print your image.  I use silhouette studio but you can print it with whatever you have on sublimation paper with your sublimation printer. This is the image I decided to print. Once you have printed it, cut as close as you can to the image. Wrap it around your cup and use your heat resistant tape to put it on your cup as tight as you can.  Do not try and save tape, the more tape the better image you will get. Next turn your Cricut mug press on until it beeps. Put

I made cups for a friend, I even used her beetle color for the cup! I just love my mug press.  I can make anything and I love it!   So super easy with the cricut mug press and cricut cups. Items needed: Cricut Mug Press Cricut 15 ounce cups Sublimation printer Sublimation paper Heat resistant tape Print out your image on sub paper, cut it down, and tape it to your cup. Turn on your mug press and wait for it to heat up (it will beep) Insert your cup into the mug press and shut it.  Your handle will be sticking out and will remain cool. When your mug press beeps take your cup out do not touch it.  Use tweezers to remove the tape/sub paper to reveal your awesome cup!

I am in love with sublimation. I found a great way to sublimate socks and ensure there are NO white lines in from stretching. get your sock, cut a pc of cardboard about an inch bigger than your sock. Put the sock on the cardboard before you heat press it. Yay socks I can wear!  The heel even comes out perfect! Come and play with the Cricut Mug Press With Me!

Cricut Mug Press Unboxing and Making 2 Coffee Cups! Open your lets get started booklet Take the plastic off your machine and follow the instructions in the booklet. Activate your product you must have cricut's design space on your computer to activate your mug press.  I don't have cricut stuff but I had to download it for the firmware update and to activate press. First I printed out a page of tye dye with my beetles on it.  I had downloaded an image off etsy to give me the proper dimensions for the 12 ounce cup. I printed the image on my sublimation printer, cut out the image, and wrapped it around.  It was super easy based on how the template was designed to cut it and place it on the cup.  I then taped it down with cricut heat resistant tape.  I put the heat press on top of a heat resistant pad and turned it on.  It took around 5 minutes or so to heat up and chirped when it was done.   I put the cup inside the press and made sure the handle was as closely centered as possi

Convert an Epson ET-2720 into a Sublimation Printer! For my birthday this year my husband got me a printer that will use sublimation ink.  This has opened my eyes to a whole world of craftiness.  I did the research to find my best possible options and found a really good deal. What is Sublimation you ask? It is the process in which ink gets turned into a gas and infuses into the fabric or treated item causing the item to dye.  Its pretty awesome because there is no vinyl to deal with or weed.  You simply print an image and heat press it on with a heat press. Items you need to do this: Epson Eco Tank printer Most models will work, I bought the Et-2720 Sublimation ink, I bought the hiipoo brand found on amazon at this  link Sublimation Paper, I bought the paper on amazon at this  link Something to sublimate on. Must be 60% or more polyester or special treated items for sublimation purpose.  There are a ton of them on Amazon. A heat press or easy press but it must get to around 400 degr

Come and Make Shaker Cards with Me and Queen & Company!

Image
I LOVE Queen & Company shaker cards.  One of my best friends started showing me their products years ago and I fell in love with the ease of making them. They have so many kits available to purchase.  To find them visit  Queen & Co (queenandcompany.com) Come Craft Queen & Co. with Me! I recently purchased their hot air balloon shaker card kit and their suitcase shaker card kit. The hot air balloon kit includes enough product to make 4 cards minus the shaker toppings or shaker bits.  Once you are done with their precut shaker components, you can purchase more or make your own with the dies included in the kit. You get: 4 envelopes 4 cards shaped as hot air balloons 4 acetate covers 4 shaped foams 3 dies (The hot air balloon, outline die, and basket die) I love that you can use any color paper and it comes out beautiful. All the sentiments were done with different die sets that I own. As you can see below I used some floral papers, bakers twine, sequins for my toppings,  ink

Adhesive Castor wheels for my ink tower? What?!?

Image
As I was browsing youtube I noticed that people were buying castor wheels and similar rolling things to put on the bottom of their trash cans so that it rolls around.  I thought hmmmm I could put these on the bottom of my ink tower instead of using a lazy susan. I found these on Amazon here . For a box of 8 pcs I paid 6.49.  They come with a circle tape pad to adhere them to your item.   They work very well, they allow my ink tower to slide and turn on top of my desk and that  is exactly what I was looking for.  I love it! There are so many things I can think of to use these wheel castors on in my craft room, I am so excited! If you have used them for something, leave me a comment and let me know!   www.imginbugcrafter.com www.instagram.com/imginbugcrafter 💓Imginbugcrafter

Items you will need: Ink Jet Shrink Film found on Amazon  here Earring studs with backs found here Clear embossing powder Versamark ink pad Heat gun Ink Jet printer Scissors or a cutting machine to cut them out I used my cameo to design, print, and cut out the images below. You can print from a printer and cut them out with scissors as well.  You can print on either side of the paper.  If you want a matching necklace or dangling earrings, don't forget to add a hole. I used a flat cookie sheet and placed the shrinky dinks on some wax paper.  I preheated the over to 250 and put them in until they were shrunk and flat. They will curl during the process just let them keep shrinking and they will flatten out. Once out of
